Finally someone who gets it!

Oof this is so real, I’ve been trying to find blogs that I actually want to read on here, but it’s impossible because everyone on my feed is just looking for engagement and doesn’t actually care about genuinely helping people 😭

Sadly, yes. The feed becomes better over time when you engage more with the content that interests you, but the Sub-seekers will still pop up here and there

I signed up on substack today and all I could see is the types of posts you mentioned. They are everywhere. It almost feels like that's the only use of the notes section. You have captured the frustration beautifully. Couldn't have said it better!

Thank you, and welcome to Substack! I really hope you find your tribe here; may the algorithm take mercy on you:)

Thabk you for the kind words 🙌

I've only been on here for a day and I'm already sick of the notes section. You wonderfully categorized the different "types," that I've encountered thus far. This was a hilarious read.

I appreciate the feedback, thank you! I felt like I needed to turn my Substack fatigue into a bit of screaming rage :)

You know, I was actually very skeptical about people discovering anyone like that, and you just proved me wrong — usually, no one benefits from these notes but the author. If people like you can find me this way, I will keep responding to the threads, it’s worth screwing up my algorithm :)
